Annual Reports

Annual summaries of USPA of activities and those of its members have been an important addition to the USPA since their formation in 2001. The following annual reports serve as a valuable record of permafrost-related activities in the United States by university researchers, Federal and State agencies and professional organizations. The first several reports starting in 2002 were called collectively Cool Bits. With time photographs were added to illustrate the many diverse activities and permafrost conditions.

In addition to the following list of annual reports, the International Permafrost Association has published reports from its adhering bodies since 1988. These reports are accessible individually by country through 2012, and starting in 2013 are available as a compiled PDF that includes the US reports.
